OxMOG currently has around 130 Members and all have at least one common interest...'Morgan Cars'
We enjoy our cars by combining simple 'Drives' to local places of interest, local Pubs or just a 'Drive'. These can be for an afternoon or spread into a weekend for those that want to travel further afield. Some of us travel even further into Europe and beyond... Where possible we join other 'Centres' to enhance the pleasure of enjoyment of our 'Cars' and each others company. The regular monthly 'meet' is known as a 'Noggin' within the Morgan Sports Car Club and details can be found here. There is no membership fee as this is part of the 'Morgan Sports Car Club' Membership. (MSCC Members are only able to vote at the Centre AGM and take part in Centre activities) So come along if you own, wish to own or simply like 'Morgan Cars'... We look forward to meeting you! |
Noggins - We meet on the evening of the first Tuesday of the month. This normally takes the form of combining the three other favourite past times of us all 'Eating', 'Drinking' and 'Friendship'. We have also included 'Talks' and 'Film Shows' during the winter months ('Out of Season'!)
M3A (Morganeers of the Third Age!) - Mid week events for those lucky enough to have the time to attend Event Calendar - an extensive list of events that are specifically organised by OxMog or other local Centres is published on a regular basis and this also includes other local events that may be of interest to the Members (click here for the current information) Favourites - these are a list of venues with an interactive map that are recommended and relatively local to us, for members to explore on their own or if they choose with others. It is of course a good source of information to visitors in the area whether they have a Morgan or not... Annual General Meeting - this is usually held during the February 'Noggin' and is the only time during the Centre Year that the regular election of Centre Officers is performed and conforms to the requirements of the Morgan Sports Car Club. The only elected officers are the Secretary, Treasurer, Regalia Officer and Event Coordinator. The 'Communications Officer' is also responsible for the Centre's Web presence. and regular newsletter updates. |
